- Description
- This study investigates the association between the accuracy of income forecasts in small firms and indicative best practice management activities within such firms. Activities included are engagement in formal networking with other firms, the evaluation of performance by comparison with other businesses, and the preparation of formal strategic plans. Understanding if and how best practice management activities influence forecast accuracy is important as forecasts and expectations have a vital influence upon many commercial decisions and subsequent firm performance. Best practice management activities should provide an improved access to and understanding of information that has the capacity to influence the accuracy of forecasts.
